Definitely hard to find. Keep your eyes open and if you are patient you will find the right one

How much did you end up letting her go for if you don't mind me asking? Mileage at sale? It was a real beauty!!

Question, who made the cover you had and would you use said cover car sat in a windy area where that cover might be moving??

I'm so sick of pine needles and tree parts! You know, plucking, sucking, blowing them out of all the cracks. Some just go in and never come out! Poor car!

Cheers!

She was definitely a beauty! I sold it for $15,500. Had I sold it 2 months prior I would have gotten almost $19K. Mileage was around 76K

Here you go sir:

Amazon Amazon

It has ties for windy days. If you don't use the ties, then 100 percent the wind will pull the cover off. Also on dry days, it seems to pick up static

Thanks much! I think its a damned if you do, damned if you don't kinda thing. Covers that move can do paint damage. Plus they need to be on clean cars and winter gravel roads in these parts make this a bad idea.
I might try it though if you say it fit well? Would you say that?

Yes, it was designed for an IS350. Also it has soft material underneath to protect the paint. Just make sure you put it on a clean car as dirt can cling inside

Aw man that thing was clean. Love seeing old gen cars with low mileages and mint interiors haha.

Never got a chance to push the V6 on the IS. I bet it's quick since its lighter than the GS.

2nd gen IS was the fastest, due to more aggressive tuning and gearing. It was a great car, but it was just sitting there after getting my Polestar. It's not a car that does well sitting, it needs to be revved out. Now it's in the hands of someone who daily drives it and gives it the love it deserves

So I haven't been lurking in other areas to see what you've been up but you mentioned Y in another thread. Has the household gone full electric or did you trade in the Polstar?

Also, I gave your thread another 5 star vote but nothing changed!

Yes, pretty much. I still have the Polestar. My current cars:

2023 Model Y Long Range
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (wife's car)
2023 Chevy Bolt EUV (daughters car)
2022 Polestar 2 (Son is driving this)

I still have my 2013 Sienna, but we rarely drive it, maybe once a month. I'm mostly active these days in the EV subforum. Here are my active threads:

Any 220/240VAC charging going on and can you they use the same station?
That's cool until the power goes out! Maybe repurpose the Sienna as gené... haha! J/K

My current commute is completely stupid to start an ICE but there is no safe path to pedal if I don't want to become a statistic.
That said the street bike is a PITA due to gates, gear, gravel road and lack of payload... it does get 45 to 50 MPG... Thats 2008 technology, well until you get cray cray with your right hand! Quite the opposite of the Tundra!

I currently have an Electrify Home Level 2 charger, 240v, 50amp circuit. I also have a NEMA 14-50 plug for backup. Solar panels provide most of the power. We spend about $30 to $50 a month per EV powering them.

Well if there is a power outage, let's hope it doesn't last long. We charge every 3 to 5 days (usually at 50 percent) and could probably go more than a week if we had to, but with plenty of public chargers I think we would be fine.

That's a nice bike 👍
