Just picked this car up today it’s my first Lexus. 2004 Sport design with 81k miles and a 5 speed. Seems to have been in one minor accident in rear and has been repaired correctly has clean title as well. Will keep updated and get more pictures soon.
Question
-What is it worth?
-Will I destroy car value by lowering 1.5” and putting wheels and rolling fenders?
-I have watched a few sticky dash videos is it really just as simple as scrubbing down with a degreaser it doesn’t affect plastic color or anything?
Welcome to the forums, and congrats on finding a low-mileage SD in manual. Rolling the fenders and lowering it would destroy any remaining value IMO, as lowering/stiffening the suspension makes everything wear out that much faster, and rolling the fenders is irreversible and leads to rust. As for the dash, it is a very involved process, and is best done with the dash out of the car. Some people can get away with just leaving the raw exposed plastic look, but most people attempt to repaint it. I personally just used a 2001 dash in mine.
