I think I saw you mention either here or FB that you do launches at 2k RPM? IS that on a prepped track?

I have Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-04 and the tires start slipping at 1500 rpm with the brake pedal fully depressed. I know my rear rotors needs to be changed (has small ridges) so maybe that's why?

Yep, 2k launches, but on the opposite of prepped! Just a normal unprepped road, like the one in my video. I want to try a prepped surface on my next run to see how that helps with times.

it might be a combination of tires and rotors, because the brakes have to withstand the drivetrain when launching like this.

Default RR Racing AOS installed

Installed the RR racing air/ oil separator, which is designed for the ISF, but works just fine on the 1UR.

Sounds mean! I'm interested in hearing what the pro xs is going to sound like. A little deeper I'm betting. Did you do the header install yourself?

Yes I can't wait for the JoeZ X Borla combo, should sound amazing! Yes, along with a competent friend with access to a lift.

I'm assuming you have driven with the headers. Is the power gain noticeable? Did you lose some down low grunt? Are you going to get a retune from steven?

Another question. I ordered 18 x 9 +35 ssr gtv01 wheels and 265 40 tires. I am wanting to lose an inch of fender gap. I'm not on Facebook and all the posts about this topic are pretty old. Besides coilovers, do you know of the best way to achieve this? Lowering springs are the only way but I was wondering if you know of anyone that has done this fairly recently with little aftereffects.

Yes, sorry I've been pretty busy with finals and other projects. The power gain is very noticeable, I don't think we lost any power on the powerband, in fact it seems like there is more power everywhere. I would like to get retuned, we'll have to see.

As for springs or coilovers, both could help with fitment, as could spacers.

I saw in the comments of one of your YouTube videos that sector 7 has stopped doing tunes. Is that true? Why I wonder?

4 corners of meat! Got rid of a lot of the fender gap. Won't need to lower it.

Thanks man. I was kinda worried about the fronts rubbing. No rubbing. Chrome delete is next. Having it wrapped. The paint on the rear wing is starting to fade. Going to have it wrapped with carbon fiber vinyl. Either matt black or semi gloss black everywhere else. A place in Nashville will mount the headers for around 1200, unless they strip out some head bolts. Will have to pay for labor if so. A guy I work with has a lift and has mounted headers on his rousch and gt 500 mustangs. The process is very similar. I'm trying to talk him into doing it. As for tune, who the hell knows.
