Default DuWerke '08 Lexus ISF

From a Lexus SC300 2JZGTE Swap...stock 98 Lexus GS300...

After several years, my happy *** is back into a Lexus.

AND BOY O' BOY...am I happy with this purchase.

New-To-Me 2008 Lexus IS-F.

Already making a mental modification list...she's going to be the new DD, so I'm making a saving account for all the photo speeding tickets I'm about to get.

Well, this didn't last very long.

It took about a week before I had already ordered parts and more importantly, get them installed.

Currently enroute:

RR Racing Headers, Intake, ECU
BumperPlugs (Car has a front license plate mount, which...ugh.)
NOVEL Carbon Fiber Fender Ducts
Shifter Paddle Extensions
Interior LEDs

But Tuesday my catback exhaust from X-Force came in via Summit and couldn't wait to get it installed...

...yeah, I was afraid it would be -too- loud, but to be honest I absolutely love it.

Congrats. What shifter paddle extensions? I’ve wanted some for a while, but never could locate any. I must have overlooked them.

Did you do equal length or unequal length headers?

I’ll be darned. Give us a quick review. Are they sturdy? Being stick on, I wonder if they can take the aggressive shifting that may result on a road course / adrenaline rush?

I've had them on the TL Type-S, they were carbon fiber and very sturdy and durable.

They came already with 3M Tape and it was nothing more but peeling off the backing and sticking them on. It fits on the back of the extension, you when you shift you actually pull up against the paddle,. I used my car for daily driving and a few spirited runs on the highway and they held up fine without much fuss.

For 70 bucks it was a really neat little bit to add to the interior.

Agreed. I have not liked how small the ISF paddles are, especially for a car legitimately designed to be driven hard with the paddles.

I really need to update this thing.

After about 2 months, my PPE headers arrived and once they are installed along with the RR Racing Intake and Tune I'll hopefully post some numbers.

Pictures hopefully in the week of current progress.

BTW...paddle extensions really do suck. Don't get them even if they say they are for 08+ ISF.
