Great build thread and progress during this pandemic. I'm currently looking for a GS F. You mentioned you used to have an S2000. How does the GS F compare to the S2000? I have an S2000 and would love to hear your feedback on the GS F from an s2k perspective.

Honestly bro, I haven’t driven any car that compares to the s2000 except for maybe an FD RX7 which is going to out class it in terms of power. But handling on there hand there isn’t much that compares. The s2000 engine is a masterpiece as well for what it is.

I don’t think you can compare these cars, but it would depend on your plans for using either one. For me at times I do miss my s2000 and wish that I kept it. But it’s only because of it being such a great car.

the GS F is a super solid car, handles great for a 2 ton car, stops on a dime, and can hang with most 400hp cars in its class. (Charger, Challenger, Camaro, etc) while offering great aesthetics, rarity, and reliability.

I’m in no way saying the s2000 or GS F is a better car than the other. Because depending on application the opinion would vary. For me at this point in my life the s2000 wasn’t a better car for me. But I do wish I still had it.

Great feedback bro, thanks for that! I can see the handling being the hardest to compare. But, as far as throttle response and the way the engine feels, how is that? I imagine since it's NA, it would still be a blast.

Response wise it’s a night and day difference, I can literally be at almost any rpm and out accelerate a NA s2000 in vtec. I mean the car just makes more power and more torque everywhere. And with it being an NA v8, it’s naturally rev happy and it has great drive-ability because you don’t have to rev it out to get it going.

Just to compare apples to apples power wise. Me at 403whp vs a 430whp turbo S2000, I stayed door to door with him from 40-120. I would have started pulling away at that point had we kept going just because of the s2000’s gearing.

While getting my post header alignment/3 hole exhaust hangers mounted to keep the exhaust vibrations from driving me crazy.

On the way home I ran my buddies intake/exhaust IS F while he’s waiting for his headers to come in as a baseline run. Definitely can’t wait to see what the headers will do for his car.

If you have the HPS intake you only need 2 clamps. 1 of each size.

Got it installed, loving the V2 bracket with the all black hardware. And the black hoses. Makes it look stealth.
