Did you ever install acoustic glass in the front doors? I was wondering how easy or hard it is to do.

 

Yes I did. You need to remove to door panel to replace the glass.

 

Can you share where you got the glass and the price. I looked on Lexus online parts from a local dealer here and front door glass is not for sale. Did you have to get it from a parts yard?

I know a guy in Dallas has them for sale but I do not think he would be able to ship it.

 

I'm in the Phoenix area so Bell Lexus is a short drive from me. I checked on Superstition Springs Lexus parts site which is near me too and it said the glass was not for sale so that's why I asked. It looks like Bell Lexus has them.

Can I ask, was it very difficult to install and do you notice enough of a difference in sound to make them worth it?

 

It’s not difficult. You will notice the big difference on the highway.

 

Lovely car. You might want to check the direction of your rotors.

 

I was going to mention that as well, but I know some people don't care for direction (see what I did there). . .BUT, his rotors might be facing in the right direction. My RC-F's rotors are moving in that direction but my Brembo and StopTech rotors (cross-drilled tho) on my other cars are going in the opposite direction.

 

where did you purchase your front end conversion from & did you have to modify your headlights into the 16 headlight to get it to fit perfectly ?

 

would love to know what kit you used and any help with installing
