Icetrai350 Somewhat Mild Build IS350/OSGIKEN LSD
So this post is to review what my quick drive home from the shop with the OSGIKEN LSD and to list my mods that compliment the car in general.
First, if you want to go fast and improve the drivability of the IS350 and you have the money to mod, GET AN LSD. PERIOD. Hands down the best mod to date. These cars can sometimes struggle to put the power down effectively. It improves traction and it will slide on demand if you want to hoon.
Second it can get dangerous so please drive responsible, I tested it and it got sketchy but it's predictable once you do it. Locks quick and smooth.
List of Mods.
- QTP oval 4 inch cutout.
- H&R lowering springs
- Tein endurapro plus dampers
- Injen intake
- RR racing tune
- USRS
- Yokohama AD08R
- MSport slotted rotors carbon ceramic blend pads
- Custom catch can
- Rear cat delete
- OSGiken superlock LSD
So far this build is going very well and it's really blooming into the car is should be.
If you like driving again I repeat if you have the money.... LSD 100%

That's awesome! Locking LSD was one of the mods on my list, but I decided to drop this one. In the next 3 years I'm looking to either move into an LS460 (2016 or 2017) or if I can find a decently priced 4th Gen GSF. BTW, no more mods for me this year. Just sunk some major money into a deck in my backyard

GSF is a wild car. I love sedans and always will, full sized ones are too much for me but they're still bad*ss and great to ride in as well to look at. I can't purchase and new parts until year 2023. I Just bought my first house and I need a new daily AND I just got engaged so wedding. Oufffff
Beautiful deck btw.
Beautiful deck btw.
I love Sedan's as well. I've been wanting a GSF for some time, and at 53, the bigger, the better! Hopefully I can find one priced right!

Congratulations on the house and getting engaged. Both are big steps to a new stage in life. At 53 years old and being married for 23 years with 2 kids (boy 17 and girl 20), the secret to a good marriage is getting rid of "I" and transitioning to "we". Lots of sacrifice and compromise, selfishness has to go out the door. You have to give them your full attention, or they will find it elsewhere. A happy wife is a happy life, as they say.

Supposably they are releasing a new line of ISF with a twin turbo V8, but that may be fake news

I was considering using the TEP+ shocks with my H&R springs too. They look like pretty awesome shocks especially for the price. Went a different route with Fortune Auto coils. How do you like them?

I love my setup, the endurapro plus work with edfc and thats a future consideration for me. If I plan to continue being irresponsible with my finances. Lol.

Update 2022
So far the build continues. Slow unfortunately but that's because life continues as well.
New updates for my 2007 IS350
- Finally installed and tested the OSGIKEN superlock LSD at the track. It's an exceptional component for this car and transforms it's capabilities.
- Now running Tien Flex Z. Huge improvements over the endurapro plus dampers and springs I had. Yet to test at track.
- Installed RR racing Billet adjustable front Upper control arms (very nice component)
- Installed Figs Engineering rear traction arms
In progress
- Enkei TFR 8x18 with Yokohama Apex V601 225/40/18 (front) 255/40/18 (rear) **at shop being put together
June through July
- Figs Engineering rear adjustable toe arms
- Transgo solenoid upgrade kit
- Alignment. When toe arms installed.
