Hi all,

This is my first foray into Lexus and I look forward to starting the build.

It's a 2005 and I'm the 3rd owner. Original Florida car that has service records all the way up until my purchase.

Sitting at 133k miles.

I purchased the wheels below and mocked them up to see what it's going to take to make them fit.



Plan for the car is to thoroughly go through everything to find out what works and what doesn't.

I'll compile a list and start knocking stuff out. This will be an OEM+ build.

My overall vision for the project is "What if Lexus built an LS430 F-sport for this model range?"

I will try to use Lexus/Toyota parts where I can (Celsior front and rear bumper covers).

Parts ordered so far:
Slotted rotors front and rear.
Hood struts
Trunk struts
Wipers
Driver door lock actuator
Headlight restoration kit
Adjustable LED bulbs for low beam
Grom Aux adapter
Wheel studs/lugs
60.1 ID 70.5 OD hub-centric rings
70.5 ID hub-centric 1" spacers

I will document the restoration/build here in this thread and try to do how-to's to share with the community.

are you going to change the engine or the shift points on the tx or leave it as is?
