I wanted to start off saying, I've gone through all the build threads on the RC-F page probably 4-5 times. Gathering ideas and looking on in amazement in some of the builds that are taking place. I want to pay homage to this car's history and continue adding on with quality items/parts.

Painted the calipers....This project was a disaster. I've probably done 2+ dozen brakes in my lifetime so this wasn't new to me. I had bought caliper paint from a brand call Omac, same color I did on my convertible. When I went to mix the paint with the hardener / lacquer... it was game over. The paint coagulated instantly making it unusable. In a panic I went to 3 auto parts stores & walmart to try and find a unique color to paint the calipers. Needless to say, I did not find anything special. It was red or yellow....yellow it is. They turned out great! But I still am pissed off I didn't get to paint it the color I wanted.
All put back together.
I also added some wing extenders on which you can see in the photo above. Wing is in the down position.
Close up of the extenders,
Smoked tail-light overlays and blacked out rear emblem
RR Racing cold air intake & Heat shield,
Installed,
I wanted a carbon fiber hood scoop to tie the rest of the exterior carbon together. Elvin wanted WAY to much money for that little scoop. I ended up wrapping it for 10 whole dollars. Looks pretty good! I think in the future, I will just buy a entire carbon fiber hood.
Returned the lowering springs and went straight for RR Racing Road & Track R2 Coilover Suspension with upgraded springs. Hoping to get these installed this weekend!
Finally got the coilovers on the car. The rear is flush with the fender and the front is a little more than a finger gap. The car is starting to come together nicely!
Any rubbing issues?
Thinking about getting 19s as well with stock tires, but mine is lowered on coilovers tucking tires.
99% of the time, no rubbing. Huge dips in the road I will hit the bump stops & rub. I'm not lowered that much. 26in from the ground to the fender well on all corners.
