In for the build, as well. I'm not really a fan of the bagged stance on any car, but to each his own...I respect the modding process and your last car was tastefully done. On top of that, I haven't been able to find any other modded is500's. You have some ***** to rip apart a brand new Launch Edition!

Also, I'm very interested to know what's needed to make the GSF brakes work on the is500.

SUBBED!!!! Nice work Boss! Seeing you Tear Apart a brand new Lexy gives me Anxiety (changing out the Bulbs for the ones you have made me a little nervous haha) but after seeing your last Build, I know this is going to be awesome. Keep up the Great Work, and Kudos for the Cajones to not GAF and make so many MODS. Looking forward to the rest of this build.

Yes same amount of work that I'm doing well be the same for the 2021 IS350. There are 4 OEM colors for these calipers from Lexus; Black with Lexus logo from the earlier RCF, Orange, Blue, and then finally a Red set from the RCF track edition with the ceramic brake rotors. The calipers are the same between RCF and GSF

Please keep us posted if you figure out how to get the factory electronic parking brake to work with the RCF/GSF brakes!

I know a few of us are curious how to make this work without warning lights on the dash or disabling/removing the parking brake.

got the Rivnut in place

Also got a spare tank painted something bright to match you know what

not the exact same, but close enough

Forgot to mention, picked up a new air management ECU to upgrade my old Accuair setup. Luckily Accuair was purchased out of bankruptcy and they were able to continue selling the new Elevel Plus system so I figured I give it a try.

You are right, The blue is going to be out off place on this build. I was considering getting the strut tower mounts powdercoat orange also when I got the air tank painted. But I actually may go a different route and sell this Cusco one off.

Nice build so far, can't wait to see what's next. Are you going to do the front plate trick you did with your last 3IS?

i wasn't planning to. Was just going to risk no plate 100% of the time since it's not a daily. I didn't want to pull the bumper off and have to recalibrate the radar cruise control.
Ironically I get a no front plate ticket parked on the streets today. :rollseye:
Upon quick look, even if drilling in the OEM plate holder, it's in a very inconspicuous spot If you want to remove it occasionally due to the grill design. I'll revisit this at a later time.

thanks for response, so if i want the red calipers i get the RCF track edition and this will fit with no modifications on my 21 IS 350 F Sport?

I don't want to derail specONE's build thread, but I believe the answer is no, it's not a perfect fit/install because of the rear electronic parking brake.

In speaking with forum member 350phi, the front RCF/GSF calipers will bolt on, but the rear calipers will require new mounting brackets, different rear brake lines, AND they will not work with the electronic parking brake (on 2021+ models). Apparently, you will lose the electronic parking brake functionality and there will be an error message on the dash.

I'm not sure if specONE has found a solution for this or plans to proceed with no parking brake and an error on the dash. I'd love to see someone come up with a solution for a fully functioning big brake option for the rear on 2021+ cars. Maybe we'll have to wait for the future ISF and can use those brakes

Back on the grind

Here is the Air Tank in Orange colorway next to the car.

slowly transferring all the brackets over

Bought this aluminum bracket from a seller on ebay so I can use it to fabricate some way to mount the new Accuair Elevel Plus ECU on the old Exomount brackets on the airtank

everything mounted into place

now to get the system wired up before proceeding with the actual air strut install.

The trunk interior panels is now all torn out to start running some of the wiring.

Some wiring ran so far, still not finalized and may move around.

one of the holes I routed some of the wiring through, I ran some edge guard to it so it doesn't cut into the wire insulation over time.

Ran power to the ECU temporary just to see how it will look lit up in orange
