Default 2002 ls430

this is my 2002 LS430 with 117,000 alll Florida driven miles. Midnight pine pearl colorway

It’s on 20 inch Helo Elegance chromes which are in great shape for being 18 year old wheels. Running 35/30/20s on the tires with 12mm spacers on the front to clear the brakes, backs clear fine without. Stock suspension

I picked this up last year. This car was not as well kept as some others I’ve seen on here. But for a 20 yr old car I cant complain. I’ve had to do a moderate amount of work under the hood. Lots of corroded cables, cracked hoses, a coolant leak, numerous codes. Finally down to one code lol, but car is running great other than sipping gas like an alcoholic

Its straight piped, sounds great with the v8

5% tint around the sides, 40% on the front windshield

not everyones cup of tea but heres mine lol

Next post i’ll go over the audio work that i’ve done

Default Audio setup

starting in the engine bay, I’m using a 4awg power wire running through a 150amp fuse for the monoblock amplifier powered in the trunk, the cables are routed through the firewall in the driver side foot area, and routed through the floor panels to the trunk.

in the cabin i have a SonyXAVAX1000 headunit which is powered by a TYTO-01 adapter… was honestly a pain to get working properly as I’m used to plug and play adapters. Directly below the headunit in the pop out unit is the bass ****

The door speakers are Polk Audio db652s being powered by the stock amplifier. Need to get around to replacing that. Unsure how to wire two amplifiers in one system

in the trunk I have two Sundown SA12s powered by a Rockford Fosgate R2-1200x1 which is stuffed behind the Skar box. The amplifier cable situation is a mess, but as you can tell i am not a pro at audio work, but to be fair it's behind the sub box and non noticable anyway. I'm not taking this to shows, will get around to organizing it eventually. 🤣
grounded using a stock ground in the trunk

system is outputting 1500+ watts at max level easily, these subs are tanks. The bass sounds great, but the door speakers are very underpowered by the stock amplifier. I still have the stock subwoofer which would probably be good to take out, but the bass is already so loud it seems pointless right now
