T-lex is a good shop, serviced my car there a few times, going in for some fluid changes next week.

Let me know their labour rate per hour if you could luciano. I'd appreciate it.

After having someone ask me about them i asked around .
The only other thing i can add is T-lex does not do performance just no frills maintenance and repairs with Toyota experience.

Hey SK, do you know any local shops that do performance? I will need to get my car aligned very soon and would rather take it to a shop that works on performance cars rather than the dealer considering that the car is lowered quite a bit.

Have to agree on that, he does note "general repairs" on his business cards but still very knowledgable Toyota/Lexus mechanic has experienced best of both worlds. He has done the servicing on my 2001 Toyota Corolla, 1993 LS400, and my 1999 RX300. Have no problems to note for. As for his average labour per hour cost is around the $50-$60/hr range. In the end his prices are competitive with good results compared to the Lexus dealer prices, etc... He also use to work for Don Valley Lexus for eight years before venturing off to his own business as a independent certified Toyota/Lexus specialist, also winning awards honoured by Toyota/Lexus Co. for his customer satisfaction in mechanical performance and also Team Leadership. I have also spoken to the Lexus Service manager @ Don Valley Lexus and he too mentioned that he knows his stuff. He is one of those soft spoken, but very knowledgble/honest mechanics.

Gilman Motorsports in Scarborough is a great shop to go to for alignment especially with rims, but only up to 18"s', and the rims you have Hameed is within those boundaries. The cost for doing an alignment on 18"s' is about $80.00 plus taxes.

Do you know of any other good shop in the West end? I live in Oakville and the drive to Sciberia is not that palatable.

Can't go wrong with T-Lex. His price is very reasonalble and he is very honest. Put it this way, he is honest and good enough for me to drive from Hamilton to GTA for regular service for the GS. Even his staff (younger looking guy) is very frindly and does good work. Just did my tranny fluid there not too long ago he even uses OEM toyota/Lexus tranny fluid.

Another Lexus owner in the GTA.

I find http://my.is/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=122 has a lot more activity than clublexus.

I am also in the West end in Sauga.

Very nice ride you got!

Yeah, I got an IS this week.. Do you guys have any weekly meets or anything or is there not enough Lexus owners to set this up?

Wow that looks prety good, but is it only for IS. Don't they have a section for the SC430?
