thanks faymester!
that's weird. neither lordco's website, or royal purple's site mention each other
the crappy tire in north van has amsoil motor oil, but not ATF fluid... damn.

i bought royal purple 5w20 from lordco a few weeks ago for $7.88 per quart IIRC
its amazing that the crappy tire in north van on main st. has amsoil
ive gotta go there sometime then
before this, i thought only http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/def...spx?zo=1254170 has amsoil for canadians
if CT starts carrying it, thats awesome
for ATF, i would just stick with toyota type-IV as it is almost a must
but then amsoil's ATF fluid is universal right?
just so expensive though

on the gs message board they say the amsoil atf synthetic makes the trans shift smoother than the normal toyota t-iv. i was going to do a power flush and refill, but the price quotes i got for that was staggering.. so i'm going to do the amsoil instead

i want to do a full flush this time. it's going to be almost 9qts. worth, and amsoil is not cheap... almost $11-12/qt. and the use of the machine is something like $150 in labor.

i ended up going to lordco for royal purple. 20 minute round trip as opposed to the 2 hours it would have taken me to get to mopac for just 2qts. of gear oil... why did they have to kill the kingsway outlet dammit

i think you can just do tranny oil change...drive around for like 10 mins then do another tranny oil change...does the same thing and much safer
