i try to avoid richmond whenever possible...i've seen more road blocks/checks in richmond than in vancouver

 

Oh mygawd, you just made me spill my dinner. Green Hut was one restaurant where one could go and have few cigarettes, even if one was a non-smoker. They ignored smoking laws like they were never written. Even my kids would ask if I started smoking whenever I ate there, which wasn't that often. Unfortunately, they were a very convenient late night greasy spoon...

 

go to knight n day down the block then. or honolulu cafe.

havent been to green hut in ages, dont feel like getting food poisoning again.

 

hahaha yeah...it was one of choice places for late night dinners back when I was in high school. but ever since I saw this rat crawling through the dining room floor (YES, not the kitchen nor the restroom) I just lost my appetite and haven`t been there since. I was sort of iffy when a friend asked if I wanted some dim sum at same location different management...but it seems like they cleaned up a lot. Go happy Valley!

 

err thanks for the heads up. I probably won't be going there anytime soon. I usually just go to #9 nowadays for latenight.

- forgot its name but its on kingsway but we it the pho train, haha, its like just past joyce station.
- whatever u call it garden in downtown, favorite after clubbing joint.

those are the places i remember.

 

bread garden on robson and bute? blenz across the street is 24 hours too. I don't know the pho place.

Never tried knight & day, I don't think but it's not very appealing in the first place.
