i turn off my yellow fogs when i am in richmond now just to avoid attention
it's just regular halogen bulbs giving up 5000k white light. The PO told me that fogs are dangerous because they blind people. And the most wtf is, he even used highbeam as an example to argue why it should be illegal. Like wtf, highbeam can shoot up to 5m high and that's why it's called "high"beam. Fogs are designed to penetrate fog so they aim much lower. How can fogs blind people when they are aiming even lower than the lowbeam? As you said, it bull*****.

Yea i'm thinking of disputing both of them. But is there a writting law saying that fogs can be turned on ONLY during poor weather conditions?

You sir, are having almost as bad a time as me right now.

Did a whole bunch of new RCMP just start in the GVRD maybe?

Audi's have the fogs as DRLs.

Vancouver is becoming the most un-fun place for our hobby, why can't they just let us be, do the po-po not have better things to do? I guess we need a bigger drug & gang problem again so they can leave us alone.

haha yea. sigh. I think I should avoid Richmond as much as possible now! And I have a good news, besides the link from drivesmartbc that Panda sent me, I just received a confirmation from "Skidmark", a PO from revscene police forum:

Skidmark:
That's correct. Remember that BC also requires that when fog lights are on, so must tail, side marker, license and park lamps be on.

Hi Guys,

Just picked up a SGM IS350 on Thursday and I'm in Richmond. Big changes coming from a 2007 Volkswagen GTI.

richmond RCMP are pretty uptight about mods.

VPD is more relaxed than RCMP.

cadillac CTS uses fogs as DRLs.

Looking to lower the car with springs, I'm deciding between H&R Sport, F-Sport or Eibach Pro-Kit? Looking for a even drop with comfort in mind, anyone have any experience with any of these?
