okey... they give u $1500 lower than the price... becuse they say that we have already lowered our prices and matched US market... so we are not able to give u as much as discount as states... but what we can do for u is that... we will give u a lower buy back if ur leasing... and lower monthly payments... usually if it comes to $400 bucks.. we'll give it to u for $375... that would be tax included... and if u talk a bit more... and then depending on how nice u are, he will give u the first 2 years maintanance on the dealer... which it would be about $600 per visit!!!!! so over all u cant beat the state... but i think this would be the best they are giving u..
so 2 question:
1- which lexus dealer are u gonna go????
2- what pkg are u gonna get???

I'm thinking just a base IS250. Rather save my money to mod it. Plus looking to buy a house soon. I drive a 04 Impreza and will tri to trade it in today. They have a base somkey granite in stock. At the dealership. Woddhaven Lexus (Winnipeg). But I really want starfire pearl.

Thanks for the tips. Going to cross my fingers.

my suggestion for invoice pricing, carcostcanada.com this is supposed to give you invoice that the dealer gets the car for... i wouldn't expect to buy it for that, give them a reasonable margin to make... they do have a business to run...

the reports are like $30-50(?) and you can run a few reports off...

good luck!

Test drive went good. I like the smoky granite but my car is black right now and is hell to maintain the paint. I wonder how hard the smoky granite is to take care of?

I'm just working on selling my car. I have one potential buy so hopefully it goes through.

I have the smoky granite..it's nice....the salt in winter sticks to your doors...so it's a shade of white near the bottom of the car....

btw i bought my 2007 AWD IS250..from the states...for a nice and cool 40k...with navigation...saved about 12k instead of buying in canada

consider getting the the states

With the new Canadian prices and low interst rates (2% on a 60 month) there is no point. But I did buy a 2008 Subaru Forester with my girlfriend and saves $15,000.

How's the color for swirls???

Invoice pricing isn't the be all to end all as many think.
Kargahi, I don't really even know what you are trying to say?!? Punctuation, spelling and grammar go a long way...
Anyways, What are you doing, leasing or financing?
Is the car in stock at the dealer of your choice?
Are you buying where you plan to service it?
All these things along with invoice pricing will better allow you to get the best price, please note the best price isn't always the lowest price...

Ok well I have a buyer for my car now. If all goes through.

I'm just looking to get a base IS250 MT

They have a Smokey Granite in stock (my second color choice)

If I wanted a white one (my first choice) I would have to wait until July

Is there more room to play when the car is on the lot?

There base IS250 MT on the lot is selling for around $34,000. That includes all fees, mats, and block heater. Pretty much $34,000 with out tax.

I plan to finance with around a $11,000 - $14,000 down payment
