Received a call back from Mobil 1 representative today confirming the filters will be available for sale in Canada starting from January- April 2009

Are their filters any good?
Who makes them , i have a K&N filter but it was free other than that what makes it better than the OEM Taiwan stuff?

I seen it available at O'Reilly auto parts store in North Dakota on sale for $5 USD. Maybe I'll pick one up next time I go down. It would be nice to know the reviews for it. I use the standard OEM Toyota filter for my Soarer.

I'll take the Amsoil oil filters over the M1 anyday personally....and they are about the same price.

Yes, I was also refering to ease in locating K&N over the shelf vs. Amsoil oil filters where, quite frankly I can't recall where I last saw their oil filters for sale in Canada.

You can walk into any CT store and get a K&N oil filter over their parts counter.
