categories we would fall under are:

- Toyota/Lexus
- VIP show off
J, you get into 2 other categories too, RHD and JDM show off =)
Just happy that they have a VIP showoff this year. trying to help push this category. i dont know about competing, im still iffy about that cuz im so far back from the competitors.

hey everyone I am new to this section here =) Been always stick in RX area... I dun have work on that day so I will definitely go for sure. Does any of club lexus members planning on putting their rides over there?

the car went to the paint booth a bit over 2 weeks ago. so i grabbed the headlights off the car and began the cleaning process. i bought the car from vegas, so the headlights were extremely pitted, and also had that leaking issue so the inside was hazed over. cracked them open with the oven trick. the bezel which was the blacked out part was fairly easy to do, its only held in place with 1 screw and a few tabs that came off easy cuz the sealant was still goo'y from the oven.
the main thing was the headlights. cleaned the inside with soap + water, rim cleaner, simply green and eventually a few runs of meguires plastX. the outside was another story. wet sanded with 1500 grid paper, then 2000, then meguires 3000 sanding block, then a couple passes by hand with the meguires plastX, dozen passes with the buffer and the plastX...
im very impressed with that plastX stuff... i read the reviews across clublexus...
after doing a lot of thought, i decided on sticking with an oem color. i originally wanted to add a flake to it and this and that, but if i ever got into an accident (knock on wood) color matching would be hard. instead, i went from diamond white pearl, to starfire white pearl =)
