so some of you may have seen my post in the spotted thread about my car being hit and run. it's a little different from your standard 'hit and run'. in a nutshell, a car came out of a sidestreet across the main street my wife was driving on, tried to avoid but too late... she didn't actually think she hit the car and the car didn't stop at all. pulled over to check and this was the result:

have an appointment mid-aug to have it fixed up, trying a new shop that's supposed to be 'lexus specialist' so we'll see how that goes.

it actually looked worse before, i pushed the fog light back out a bit, it was folded in more before

that sucks, so i'm assuming after the impact the other driver just took off? which body shop are you getting it down with?

yeah the other guy didn't stop, either running or didn't know he got hit, altho the latter is unlikely looking at the damage on my car...

i'm going to vieta import autobody... friend took her 2IS there after it got keyed, haven't looked at the job they did on that yet...

as long as the headlight ballast isn't shot its not tooooo bad ...

let us know how that shop works out ... i definitely want a bodyshop i can go to that i know will do a good job ... i'm getting super frusterated with all the shotty workmanship in this city

Hey, i got hit and run in the beginning of July too.....in richmond....
My rear bumper is dented and the body below the rear lights were pushed in
The car's in Richmond AutoBody shop now....probably ready to pick up this afternoon

i sort of got a hit and run last december, an SUV with a hitch backed into my car while parallel parking. it wasn't a true hit and run 'cause i caught the guy the next day, found out it was my friends neighbor and we matched up her SUV to the damages. she claimed that she didnt see anything, blah blah blah... anyhow, its now fixed and i brought it to vieta too... did an excellent job, customer service we really good too, they repainted the hood and bumper 'cause thats where the damage was and they repainted my front lip for me too 'cause i was worried about the color matching.

yea Vieta is a lexus specialist...they are contracted by regency lexus to do bodywork...let us know how that turns out

haha...Richmond Autobody is contracted by Richmond Open Road Lexus for body work...
