Hi guys, I want some advice from you guys.
My friend is looking to upgrade his car to a GS (after seeing how nice mine is
). Anyways, we all know prices have dropped alot in the past year and now it is the buyer's market.
http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/ctd/1023984875.html
"2000 Lexus GS 400 "Millennium Limited Edition" Mint Condition, only 139,000 kms. Service history from Richmond Lexus (recently serviced at 137,000 kms). Fully loaded with every available option including "Premium Package", Power Memory seats with perforated heated leather seats, Nakamichi Sound System with 6-disc CD changer, electrochromatic power mirrors, HID High-Intensity Discharge Headlights, memory mirrors, memory power telescopic/tilt steering wheel, Fog lights, VSC Vehicle Stability Control, Front and Side airbags, Power moonroof, Climate Controlled air conditioner, Headlight washers, HomeLink System intergrated garage-door opener, 17" Polished Alluminum alloy wheeels,"
Tell me what you think...... it's priced for 12000, I think 10500 would be a good deal though, given the used car market is tanked...
Thanks in advance, have a nice day!!

I think so, I would call rmnd Lex to check up on the service records (they shouldn't release them to you, but just make sure it was serviced there).
Go test drive and look at it, 10500 sounds reasonable to me, but if it's in a good a shape as they say I'd be prepared to pay 11000.
Important thing is to go see/drive and then decide if your friend still wants it.

For a 2000 it seems like a very fair asking price. I'd say Faymester hit the nail on the head; 11k is fair if the condition justifies it. Best of luck to your friend on finding a nice GS.
