First it is Ontario law you are trying to apply under the MTO / highway traffic act.
Red taillights are fine as long as it is no obstructing the visability of the lights.
Any obstruction to the forward facing lights ,such as tint spray or vinyl is illegal , you may be able to get away with it but it better look clean and oem in application for it not to be noticed .
Now what is bright white headllight or fogs?
Do you mean HID's?

Hacked CL to become a Mod
any modification is illegal...even changing out bulbs because you are not an engineer. therefore, you will need to pass DOT.
the trick is doing it so that the cops do not have any good reason to pull you over

pchan0: i would think that if you followed the same rules, you *might* be OK in ontario. best bet is to check your motor vehicle act in ontario and see if there are any differences.

i'm in toronto...have 6000k and 6000k HID fogs...no issues yet...but i mean...6000k is perfectly fine...it's like a mosaic white and not an intense icy white...but i also have 32% all around and non-lexus HKS axle back with a fujita intake...and redouts lol....
no problems here...i drive pretty conservatively anyways....as long as ur not reving like crazy i dont think the cops will have a problem with it...
but like a previous poster said...it's illegal to change anything
