Universal did a kit for an IS and was quoted $2300 US. I was emailing back and forth with a dealer from there. Im looking for something local here because shipping from there is a ***** and a half.

yeah man.. well
2,300.00 USD = 2,790.48 CAD
+ shipping... + instal and everything gonna cost u ATLEAST 4000 bucks... imo its not worth it even tho it looks sick... if i were you id jus get a set of coils and ull still have a few Gs u can put aside for a nice set of works

The look is so worth it. Plus I havent seen a single one here sitting on bags. Also more practical when driving, raising it on speed bumps, no camber problems, lowering while parked. I just dont know how they stick up to the cold rainy weather. I was going to get a new paint job and that would run me same as a set of bags. Bags VS Coils. I dont know!

^ the rubber that holds the air can rub against suspension component and could possibly malfunction leading to failure...plus if you get air, you can say bye bye to your trunk space.
other than that, it does look awesome. Did you consider a hybrid setup? should cost you much less

isnt that an experimental tanabe coilover?
the only other thing i can think of are the top secret top hat plates. i remember seeing them for the GS. basically a sandwich airbag that sits between the top hat of ur shock mount, and the top of ur strut. it raises and lowers the car an inch or 2. basically to get over speed bumps and such.
they arent cheap. i think i saw something like $1500 USD

The difference between Cups vs. Air is:
Cups cannot be driven on, while fully inflated, if at all.
Airbags can be driven at any inflation, with a coilover shock.
