Here is an update based on the post made on my.IS. This event is for ALL Lexus owners... so come on out and meet your fellow owners.

So the meet will take place this Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at Dave and Busters which is at the top end of Toronto near Hwy 400 and Hwy 7. The meet start time will be at 6pm... but it is expected that people will be hanging out for hours... so if you are a person that has something to do in the afternoon...still feel free to come even if you can't make it for 6pm. Last year there were still people there until nearly midnight. But to make things go smoothly... everybody should try and show up as close to 6pm as possible.

As mentioned previously... Dave and Busters is near Hwy 400 and Hwy 7. The actual address for the place is 120 Interchange Way. To get there you take Hwy 400 to Hwy 7... then proceed east. You will see a right turn-in lane to the property. Dave and Busters is beside EXTREME FITNESS. You will see Extreme Fitness clearly from Hwy 7. Dave and Busters is directly south of that. If you reach Jane Street... you went too far!

More than likely... the parking lot area south of Dave and Busters and parallel to the highway will be free. This is where we met last year and there was PLENTY of room for cars. Hopefully there won't be many vehicles there this time either (besides ours of course!). So go there as a starting point... and if necessary we can go to another section of the parking lot later. See the graphic below for details... the parking area is in yellow.



Later in the evening... those who are interested can go inside Dave and Busters for some food, drinks and gaming! If Dave and Busters isn't available... then there are plenty of other entertainment/food places on the same property.

Right now the weather looks good... but in the chance that it rains... we can just move to another location. Commerce Gate is the primary alternative location... it's an underground parking facility in Markham... and car meets have been held there before. But... in the case of questionable weather... unless you see it officially posted here... assume the meet is still at Dave and Busters.

Hopefully I've covered all the necessary details... if there is anything I left out... please let me know.

Oh... and here's the disclaimer from last year... that I will re-use this year since it applies again!

As most of you are aware... the police are being very aggressive in regards to street racing and aggressive driving in general. If you want to race, drift, do burnouts... or do any other stupid displays with your car... THEN PLEASE DO NOT COME! It only takes one idiot to ruin the night for the rest of us... and none of us want any trouble. Leave the show-boat driving for Need for Speed video games.

Some of us are getting together to try and have a large meet on Saturday, May 30, 2009... at Dave and Busters. Last year was great and we had about 50 cars show up. So far there are 38 people signed up to come out for this year.

It is a Lexus meet , just IS owners are more internet friendly so they come out to more meets as they move up from honda's .

I will try and make it out. I have never been to a CL meet (I'm new to the Lexus family).

Hopefully I will have forever-backordered rims on by then.

My car is an 08 GS350 AWD (more or less stock with some electronics mods like DVD bypass and VAIStech iPod adapter).
