BS from the dealership
So I go in for an oil change today and I asked them about the price for f-sport springs and sway bars. They gave me a qoute for $386 for the springs and $598 for the sways installed so I said ok, I'll get them. Then half an hour later they come back to me saying they made a mistake, the price they gave me was the cost for the labour installing the the parts. Right there i was pretty pissed because on their website it clearly says "price with installation" and they tell me "oh.. we made a mistake on there and they will change it".
Anyway.. after all that I ended up just buying the parts so now I need to find somewhere to get it installed. Anyone recommend anywhere?

they screwed up on pricing.
$386 for fsport springs from dealership sounds about right, this is before install,
outside of dealership install rate is around 200 bucks, so based on that, dealership rate should be around 350-400 for install. (going by their hourly rate of over $100/hr)
so yeah, dealership ****ed up.
just be happy they even called u back and didnt decide to tell you AFTER you got everything.

I booked an appointment to have these installed and was getting so excited and then they dropped the bomb on me. sigh..

yeah, i feel you...
i remember when i went in to honda for a timing issue, only to have them call me back saying i need a new distributor and its gonna cost me over 1000 bucks, and my car could not be put back together with the old distributor since when they took it out, it was fractured...

So heres a little update.. I am so f***ing pissed right now cuz I just realized that they chipped my front driver side rim and a hugh chunk of the tire is ripped. I can't believe I missed that when I did a spot check around before i got my car back.

Actually by LAW they have to give it to you at that price.
If you see a tag or price, by law they have to honor it. and if they ring it up and charge you the wrong price they need to not only sell it to you at that price but also deduct $10 per item as well. This is called the Snanning Code of Practice

So if I were you I would go back and get your money back and print out the website ad as a supporting document
