i'm assuming u got a current gen IS or GS? yeah... there is a TSB at the dealer... gotta ask about it at your local dealer tho...

keep in mind, the "modified" brake pads DO NOT STOP AS WELL as the factory high friction pads... that's why both are still available...

I'd deal with the brake dust for better braking.

IMO, brakes are just as (if not more) important than what ever other performance mods you want to do. When you need to stop, you need to stop now.

in the 2is forums, they say the performance of the pads are the same(60-0). it's just the old ones just give off mad dust.

now you know...and knowing is half the battle.

I don't know about the IS, but the GS has 3 brake pad options:
Dusty = best stopping distance and no squeaks whatsoever.
No dust = Longer stopping distance and horrible squeaking sometimes
Some dust = No squeaks and some dust..but almost the same stopping distance of the dusty ones.

Most people who had have the no dust ones have said they have noticed decreased brake performance and longer stopping distances.

True, I got it done and definetly notice less "bite" then before. On the upside, if you hate cleaning your wheels on the daily it's worth it.
