Default 2IS with F-Sport Springs... Too low for Canadian Winter?

I'm currently lowered on F-Sport springs with my IS250 AWD in Toronto and we had our first snow fall for the year. It's my first winter driving on F-Sport springs and I thought the mild drop would be fine for all year round driving. But I've actually been feeling the bottom of the car shoveling snow along side roads or streets with little snow built up and it's becoming a concern.

Does anyone else have suggestions/comments/feedback regarding my concern? Anybody lowered on F-Sport springs last winter with issues?

I'd like to gain some feedback here and hopefully others can benefit from the info shared.

Thanks in advance! Happy Canadian winter driving

I'm living in Vancouver so might be less snow here? my 2IS is lowered on tanabe, about 1" drop all around. Still, I could feel my exhaust y-pipe sratching the ice (you know when cars keep driving over the same track creating a raised level of snow/ice in between) After that I just stored my car in the garage and bus instead =)

OT, but do you get vibrations in D at a stop light with foot on the brake?

Yeah I actually do experience the annoying and infamous vibrations. Wish there was a solution, unsure if other lowering springs have the same effect for AWD. But I suppose looking on the bright side, mine isn't too bad.

How's your experience pchan?

I have the tein silencer sleeves and I still have the clunking noise in my rear right side. Wonder if adding another pack would help

Too bad I had it installed from a local shop, don't think I can take advantage of the TSB...

Thanks for the suggestion, but my reason for choosing the f-sport springs in the first place was to avoid having to install/remove springs every season (summer/winter) since it's just a mild drop but it close the wheel gap enough.

Yeah my impreza was lowered in the winter and no problems with AWD even with snow up to my head lights. =)

im in the market for a drop too. i was thinking either the f-sport or eibach250. couldn't decide cus i didnt know if the eibach would be too low to drive in snow. but now hearing that even the f-sport which gives a very mild drop is too low to drive in winter and i have the rwd. think ima go for coilovers
