i know a lot of you guys were asking, whats going on with advance?
advance is no more, owner went in a totally different direction, employees left(ok way more drama than that but you know...) and now Alex & Curtis, both certified mechanic techs, have opened up their own shop!
they arent quite ready to get off their feet BUT are talking all the right steps to ensure they have the right equipment!

I swung by to say hi to the guys, as a former advance employee myself, i want to make sure they are doing well. they have been looking forward to doing this, and the best part, they will have my full support, as a friend, and may even see me help out from time to time. They being techs know what is needed to be done!
They got the corghi! yes, the machine that does the touchless rim tire and mounting! this means, with experience, skill, and the right equipment, they should be able to tackle low pro tires, stretched, and just about anything thrown to them! Remember, its one thing to have the machine, but another to have the skill to use the machine!
Ill keep you guys up to date about when they will be open for business!

tentatively set for may.
the great thing about these guys is they really have their heads on straight. i had a brief explanation of their business plan, and though its very progressive, its very attainable. its totally different when you have a shop open by mechanics, than someone with just a lot of money. their heart and mind are in the right place.
