Default Regency Lexus Detailing

Has anyone used there services before? I think I might end up going for the Presidents package as it is exactly what I look for in a detailing service. There very few detailers I would allow to touch the paint. I mainly look for a restorative process and the fact it is dealership based has me confident in what they are able to offer.

President ($275)

My guess is that Lexus outsources the detailing to someone else to have it done. I might be wrong, but there is a big chance that dealerships doesn't do their own detailing. I believe they just do the simple wash for regular service appts.

If I were you, I would probably bring it to a reputable auto spa, such as Yaletown AutoSpa or Downtown Auto Spa. A quick search on Google should give you their info. Those 2 shops are very reputable in Vancouver and have been around for a long time.
I would trust bringing my car to them for sure. I guess it doesn't hurt to call them to ask about pricing and what's included.

this is their website http://glossworks.ca/

I think the owner Terence used to work at autowerkes, then he started his own detailing business at his place, or you can ask him to go to your place and do it there. He can also get you detailing products if you ever need them. He does a pretty good job imo.

He does a superb job and I know many folks that use him. I always like to explore my options as well. I'll ask Sam at Regency when I have it in for my next service.

i know off hand that Regency Lexus does their own detailing... and if it's teh same detailer that i remember, he's really good... not fast, but good... he made a black GS400 look near new... u couldn't see the swirl marks or light scratches anymore... and a month later, the richness in colour was still there... i'd trust him with my cars...

so the detailing cost 275 at dealership and 350 at gloss??
wouldn't going to dealer be better?

I'll let you guys know once I go in for my next service. This should be within a month or so as I plan on doing this. I'll post pictures of a before and after for you all as well. In my opinion for the service compared side to side, the dealership comes out on top, plus I get a loaner car.

Glossworks for the record does a fantastic job and I know of a lot my friends who use them for their high end vehicles that they wouldn't let their girlfriends touch.

I don't recall my paint having any swirl marks, I do show signs of some age in some areas though. I'll make sure to note areas and share the work completed.
