Lexus dealers are running a 3 day sales event starting today. My question is who funds these events? Is it Lexus Canada, the dealers themselves, or a combination of both.

The reason I am asking is that I recently pre-ordered a 2020 vehicle on a lease. Being a loyal Lexus customer, there is always that 1.5% discount on the advertised lease interest rate. I know for a fact that the dealer does contribute towards some of the costs of the loyalty lease discounts. Now, the Lexus 3 day event is also offering this type of rate reduction to anyone and also up to $4500 worth of delivery credits. My question is can I apply the 3 day sale 1.50% rate reduction on top of my 1.50% loyalty rate deduction to bring myself to 0% interest? If the dealer is paying for this promo then I might be asking for too much, considering that the dealer is already selling me the vehicle at a discount of MSRP. However, if it is Lexus paying for this 3 day event - then dealer has nothing to lose.

Before I approach my dealer I want to make sure I have all the facts. Also, does this promo apply to 2020 vehicles (particularly the RX)?
