if u say just change the badges....it sounds little Ricey to me, its like put Honda and Accord badges back to the Acura TSX

Not sure about the "USED" part.
I'd have to say most cars AROUND the SIZE of a Jetta should not have 20's.
I would say that the G35c and 350Z are pretty nice looking with the right kind of wheels even though they are smaller cars they have very large wheel wells.
Even if the Jetta had a nice body kit I still think 19's would be pushing it but probly look ok.
I've seen people in my town driving around in 2004 Corolla's on 20's. Stock height, wheels are chrome bling, bling knockoffs. I just want to go up to them and ask them WTF they were thinking?
That's what I picture in my head when your friend says he wants 20's on his Jetta. I just have to wonder WHY?
I mean MAYBE it will look ok. I don't know for sure.
I think people just need to look at the size of their wheel wells and figure it out using common sense. Just because people at my work have 24's on their Escalades doesn't mean that I'm gonna run out and try to fit them on my GS400.
Just something to think about.
I think people are too caught up in the whole DUB's thing right now. Yes I have 20's but they FIT my car. When I had my 97 Eclipse I wouldn't of put anything bigger than 19's on it. I personally had 18's on it.
People want SO BADLY to have 20's regardless of what kind of car they drive because then they feel like they can say "Hey I'm roll'n on DUBs!!" Yeah great!! They look awesome on your GEO Metro!! WOOT!!

i rather put Toyota soarer Limited emblems on my SC then lexus.
they're only split up the car market in the states to have a high and low class cars.
ie: honda/acura, nissan/infinitie, toyota/lexus
i rather put the originial badges on.
on the G35, i would swap out the bumpers to the jdm skyline version, and put the skyline nismo wheels on
i think someone made a thread where they had those rims.. sexy..
OEM isnt ricey.. dont know where or how you got that..
their are tons on here with Toyota Aristo, soarer, Celsoir badges on their car..
i think the name Lexus is just too cocky..

its like i rather have everything off...no embles
and then mod the crap outta it, make ppl guess what kind of car i drive
also i though what u meant is G35coupe has some major different from the Skyline coupe.

dubs are overrated 
trust me, unless they are on a truck, they ride horribly, affect the turning radius negatively and even result in decreased gas mileage and hp
they sure look pretty tho
