Default RZ vs. RX

Anybody else think the RZ looks like an RX with a face mask?

RZ front end looks better. But it’s smaller. And you have to charge the dang thing. I don’t see the mask

Agreed, I think the RX looks great in person for what it is.

RZ is actually bigger than the RX on the inside because of the EV packaging. Same wheelbase too.

I like the new RZ front grille but everything else doesn't match.

I don’t know the problem is the gap as much as the awkward design on the wheel arch trim. The gap itself seems reasonably normal, the design and material choice on the wheel arch trim certainly doesn’t do it any favors here.

It looks much better in real life than in pictures.

You're right. Just an ugly wheel arch trim design.

It’s a bit of everything. bigger wheels would definitely help. The one in your picture does look odd.

Must've been the same designer who did the same arches on the Subaru Outback and Crosstrek. Just looks awkward. The RAV4 has the same arches, but at least theirs is squared off, so looks way better than this, imho.

overtime they should make the wheel arches body colored to be more classy, rather than more "rugged"...
