The screen (shape and orientation) is my biggest gripe, for sure. It looks like they gave a cheap universal 3rd party screen to a child and said "put this in the car", and that was it. I'm also not a fan of the gear selection on the steering column, and the steering wheel looks oddly shaped to me. Seats look good though.

I'm not sure where I fit into this. I never owned a Hyundai sedan, although I did think highly of the 5th-Generation (mid-2000s) Sonata, and, like the 3rd-Generation Camry and 4th-Generation Accord, thought it the best Sonata ever done.

Looks over styled like almost every other Hyundai I've seen... and that tacked on screen across the dash

War on Sedans….”can’t sell em’ if you don’t make em’”. … I thought you’d appreciate Hyundai still committing to sedans

These recent Hyundai CGI photos like here and for the Kona look too much like video game renders for me to appreciate, I'm sure it'll look better in real photos. More important than the looks, spy shots some time ago showed the 2.5T being paired with AWD, if that does make it to production that will fix the torque steer issues of the N-line which was its biggest flaw.

The new Accord looks like it was designed to be a rental car lol. Dropping the 2.0T was the nail in the coffin.

I don't think the Camry looks tacky. But the front doesn't look great.

Does the front end look good on ANY recent Toyota? IMO, most if not all of them look like bulldogs.

At least those are concepts lol

I think this Sonata has gone from what was a very strange car, to possibly the most compelling car in the segment? Possibly?. Camry is really old, the new Accord is bizarre looking in front, the Mazda 6 is gone, the K5 is the same car and I was impressed with that but I think if I were buying a car in this segment, this is what I would buy...

I agree it looks quite good, but I would have to see the engines. I think Hyundai is far behind Toyota...but I recall their power rating or fuel economy.

I dunno. I saw one the other day. I kinda like it. Sort of a retro feel for some reason.

My friend who had her engine replaced was given a K5. Wow. Impressive car. (I think its light on HP but I would have to look)

I had a K5 in Alabama last year and drove it on their crazy high speed highways where flow of traffic is 100 (I mean...Jesus lol) and it did great, I was really impressed with it

I took this pic!
