I think it does, this Hyundai is just a overly styled face on the usual body. Nothing really cohesive

Front looks really good. But the back looks bad. The cheap black plastic with the aero fins does not look modern

and the reverse sensors. Why are they the same colour as the white paint

Well I'm guessing since the photo is watermarked, it's an older spy shot of a pre-production prototype. What do the official manufacturer photos show of the sensors?

That doesn't even have the Hyundai or Sonata badges at the rear lol, clearly a prototype.

Maybe the cheapest models won’t colour match it

that’s simply not the concern, it’s the constant side quests talking solely about other brands / models. If someone wants to talk about how an accord looks like a Corsica use an accord thread or start one.

if you have a question about any moderation request use pm please, you know the rules.

Hmm. I've never seen that. My MIL has a basic '21 Corolla LE, and it does not have black parking sensors.

Looks better than the earlier model but don’t think it is going to make much difference to the sales figures which are already on lower end of this segment

‘why no Hyundai logo? Does Hyundai want the driver to forget they are driving a Hyundai? I kinda like the line.

I saw this update last week and thought it was done quite well although I am neither a big fan of Hyundai or such a big car. I think the combination of the Accord and Sonata redesigns pushed the Hyundai from the least attractive in the segment to the most.
Then we went on spring break vacation and sure enough one of the few interesting cars without a dead battery or missing keys in the Hertz 5 Star line was a fully loaded 2023 Sonata Limited with just a dozen miles on the odometer! I figured why not and took it.
What an impressive car! It has plenty of pep, is averaging 38 mpg in mixed driving with nice interior materials and tons of features. Last night I tried out the remote parking just to see it in action. The steering is lighter than I prefer, but truly my only gripe.
It's priced about $1,000 lower than the Integra I bought in September. My Integra drives like magic with an amazing manual transmission and nice firm steering, but I can't think of anything else the Acura does better. From little items like hood struts (Integra has a prop rod) to a whole feeling the car is one or two classes above. Once the redesign arrives, this Sonata might just be overall best in class.
