These will probably look terrible in the entry level trims with the smaller wheels.

This is a mid-level 530e. We'll probably seem many of them looking like this:

People seem to love them here (the i4), so I guess you have to drive them to appreciate them

This is actually not as horrible as I expected. These real life pics seem to reflect a conservative styling that the 5 series is known for.

Yep, it'll be fine. The low trim 5-series looks best, followed by the i5 and high-end ICE trims. Interestingly enough, the non M-sport i7 is my favorite out of the 7-series range while the ICE trims look worse.

To be fair, BMW has done a really good job at lowering my expectations of their styling recently, so not sure if I'm the best judge lol.

Exclamation

Wish Lexus still offered the GS.
Last great looking 5series was the F10 - i had 2 of them.

The new one looks like the cheap FWD 2series.

This is a good looking car, but a base 528 with 18" wheels in non M-Sport trim does not look nearly as nice as this example.

Show me the how good the new G60 i5 M60 looks to make it fair comparison.

Thats just a regular 535i msport not even M car. The F10 M5 is one of the best looking sport sedans.

Here is a base one in a boring color and timeless design.

Compare to the version I said - 528 no line with 18" wheels.

There's something about the 535 version styling that is just much more appealing to the eye.

The F10 was gorgeous. It's ratio of the 3 "boxes" of proportion are perfect. Long flat hood with a short overhang, sporty round roofline, and a flat trunk aligning with the hood. The best looking 5er easily, next to the E34.

G30 looked okay too, better in LCI guise, but overall came out as a "F10 but fussier/bulkier" imo.

This new G60 just looks so FWD in design.. very high hoodline taller than the beltline, sloping down to a pointy nose with a long overhang, a tall greenhouse with an awkwardly short trunk line.... Not a fan at all.

Only difference is the wheels lol
There are no body / bumper differences. Looks great to me in Alpine White.

You still didn’t show me a good angle on G60 that you like so much.
