Old story from when I lived in Mexico, but I met a few people that I came across that thought Lexus was a vehicle that movie producers/directors used as a prop, and that in fact no such brand existed that you could buy. Keep in mind that until very recently, Lexus did not exist there, Toyota did as early as I moved there in 2002. Imagine the surprise that they found that it really was a brand.

I have to give kudos to Lexus on these vehicles being in the movies there and elsewhere., because they did put Lexus in a positive light as futuristic vehicles at the forefront of design and technology.

I'd agree except they dubbed in what sounds like lawn equipment for the engine.
