Its unfortunate that to get the gas 7 you have to accept the M Sport package. I think the car looks better in the regular spec, but its only available with the i7

I totally agree, it makes sense though that BMW would want to step out of MB's shadow here though. I think you finally legitimately have a car that people who it appeals to might not be people who an S Class appeals to, as opposed to 7 Series buyers being people who would have bought an S Class if the 7 hadn't been cheaper.

But, there are a lot of people out there who like the car in person. Sure some people think its ugly...its very polarizing. If you're somebody who wants to stand out (he does) then it has a selling proposition. He's somebody who would never have considered an S Class, his 7 replaces a blue and black two toned SV Range Rover Sport.

There is no doubt I prefer the exterior looks of the S Class...

I use the word "presence" to mean the car has something commanding about it. It doesn't always have to be a large sedan to be commanding - for example I think the newest G80 also has a great presence. And I like the look of the interior but absolutely hate Vegas, LOL! Just you mentioning it I can smell cigarettes and bad cologne and perfume.

Wow, I wasn't even aware there was cost cutting because this interior has been so touted as futuristic. I haven't had my caffeine yet so I can't picture it but I'm going to check all our cars today in that spot, now that you've pointed it out it's hard to unsee. I've been in a W222 and it was realllllly nice inside.
