The utility of the car is going to a boon to families and it’s FWD roots will definitely keep the costs more reasonable. I’m not debating that.

I don't love the TX's design overall. It is clear that it is designed by Toyota's NA design team, not up to Lexus standard.
The headlights are from the smaller entry level LBX. The intake and ACC radar is from 23 Prius. All four doors are identical to the ones from the Grand Highlander.
What is the worst is the grille. It looks like their Grasshopper (a generative design tool great for designing patterns) license expired and they just decided to cut 4 slits and call it a day.
The same goes with the other parts of the car, it lacks fine details found on the NX and RX which both sit below the TX.

Not sure people guy GLS for roominess. But I'm sure this has nothing on GLS nor they are the direct competitors just because it wears L badge. This is a nice plush Toyota Plus product with the most minimal effort they ever did to date of a reskin.

UGH the CVT transmission on the 550H + Plug-in Hybrid. What a bummer.... Not sure but CVTs make allot of engine noise during acceleration. What are your thoughts between 550H F Sport 4 cyl vs 550H+ Plugin Hybrid 6 cyl.
