Default 2024 LC Inspiration Series is The Most Expensive LC Ever!

Lexus USA just announced that North America is also getting a limited-edition LC for 2024 -- The Inspiration Series

https://www.clublexus.com/articles/2...nsive-lc-ever/

The quick version -- it looks very similar to Europe's Ultimate Edition, white on blue. No power upgrades, but it comes well spec'd with (almost) every option as standard, plus a few exclusive goodies. Compared to a standard LC with every option, the Inspiration Series starting price costs roughly $5,000 more (before ADMs) and will be limited to 125 North American units. It's unclear what the coupe/convertible split will be in terms of numbers.

UPDATE: Bikuhana is correct: there is no rear steering on the coupe.

From Lexus:
The coupe includes most of the spec from the Dynamic Handling Package. The coupe Inspiration does not have Active Rear Steering like Dynamic Pkg and it replaces the speed-activated rear wing found in the Dynamic Pkg with a fixed Carbon Fiber Wing.

And canards do not fit the ethos of this car AT ALL. At least they're body color, but still...

Completely un-inspirational. To this date OG Structural Blue launch edition was the best special edition.

don't think it has rear steer and vgrs like the dynamic handling package for some bizarre reason (well i know why on vert but not the coupe).

This could be true, but it was a pretty short press release, so it may not have been highlighted. I'll reach out to Lexus to confirm.

Love the LC, but it's too expensive for what it is.

Finally, they put a decent set of wheels on it. Hate that wing though.

Pre-owned 2018-19 coupes are getting into the upper $60 grand range (in my area). Might not be as good as the new one, but at almost half price, it's a much better value.

finally heard back from Lexus. Bitkuhana is correct. Updated the OP.

conversely it's disappointing that you can ONLY get those rims on the inspiration. lexus' lack of ordering flexibility is maddening and not fitting for a luxury brand.

This car is way too expensive to be as slow as it is and look fast but isn't.

Love the blue guts and new wheels.
My take ----> Greenhouse and rear styling are the highlights of the LC. The swoopy and dated grille is the lowlight. A major facelift could easily bring this car to the top.

I think it's the same one they offer for bespoke order, it's the priciest wheel option, but I don't like all black wheels
