New Privacy and Security agreement required to use Lexus App?
Really do not like Lexus sharing everything with Google. I am a firm believer that if Google has your information then everyone has it. They will sell every bit of your data to anyone who will pay for it. Lexus is not giving us any choice unless you want to disconnect from all of their services. With cooperation like this insurance companies could know all of your driving habits. Just a couple of visits to the liquor store, doctor or gun store and . . . . . . . . .

Just saw that now, that's pretty bad. I didn't accept or decline, which means the app and digital key option won't work anymore. I may call the Lexus 800 number to complain. Why is it disabling all the safety features just because you don't want the POI nav information sent to google?

Agree 100%; I declined to share for now. If Lexus does any sort of meaningful (ie major) firmware/software update to address the many issues/feature requests raised in this forum, I might reconsider.

The issue is why google has to be given the info, and why so many other features of the car are tied to it and get disabled if you don't agree to it. And you can't use the app or digital key at all unless you agree.

I just checked and am not seeing anything new. I used the app to remote-start the car last weekend, and it looks like I can still connect to it today. Does anyone know when the update was pushed out? Is this an Apple thing? I have an Android phone.

It would be a Lexus thing. Maybe they have not reached out to all, yet.

I opened my Lexus app on my Apple 15 ProMax and the agreement came up instead. You had to agree or most of the app functions go bye-bye.
