Yes, that's what Hyundai quoted for the 2.5L Turbo. This new model is bigger and heavier. It's cited here and several other places: 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe revealed with powertrain details, specs and more - Autoblog

These latest images look much better than the first view last week. I keep seeing Ford Flex, which isn't a bad thing. Always thought that unit was on to something before it's time.

In fact, most of them won't. The average driver, although sometimes doing over the limit, is usually not obsessed with 0-60 times or high skidpad figures.

i don't believe the 2.5T will be 8 seconds. the car won't be much heavier and it's only slightly bigger.
my '21 santa fe is plenty quick with the 2.5T.

edit: this article says it's 600lbs heavier depending on trim so that's surprising. i see the 2.5T is the base engine now.

it will be fine.

oh and love this pic from the article!

yes the car confections video shows it is indeed decent. i forgot the current cousin sorrento already has 3 rows.
not appealing to me as i love my under floor storage in the cargo area of my current santa fe.

Amazing Hyundai managed to give the 3rd row air vents but Acura couldn't do the same on the MDX.

Our current/outgoing gen Santa Fe had a tiny 3rd row as well, but just not for the U.S. market, was supposed to come to the U.S. with the diesel, which also never materialized here.

I like this, this brings it more like the Sorento in the Kia lineup.

That logic for the rear lights doesn't make sense, you can have totally hidden struts and top hinges if you want to spend a little more.

I would be all over a diesel SUV of this size class though, that's the ideal fuel for a utility sled

Modern LED lights are also very thin. They could have just been in the door…

The tail lights also don't wrap around. So I don't see why they couldn't be higher even if the strut is there.
