NX is bigger than the C-HR, about 10 inches longer. NX is also slightly bigger than your Rav 4. RX is significantly bigger than the Rav. Honestly if you want a vehicle that small (a Rav 4 is pretty small all things considered) the UX is the right vehicle, its actually 5 inches longer than a CH-R. UX only comes in a Hybrid though.
In something that small you will have a hard time finding something that isn't a hybrid.

I'm thinking of financing so would be a 3-4 year old car at the most.

Yes but I’m switching back to gas at the end of the rav hybrid lease. If the NX is the same size as this Rav Hybrid then there’s no point in getting an NX,I’d be ok with it but not the wife,a bit too big for her she says.I did test drive the rav but she stayed in the passenger seat…all other cars we both drove but not this one for some reason. I may have to consider other Japanese brands maybe Mazda or Subaru..not sure which way to go now.

I wouldn’t give that a second thought. There are so many Toyota hybrids on the road with batteries older than that, and needing to replace one is really rare.

Maybe you’re right,I tend to overthink things and worry too much.. I’ll keep the hybrid for while but just smaller version, maybe the UX or the Corolla Cross.

Read Prius forums and all the other hybrid forums for models that have been around a long time, you will see how rare battery failure is.
