Jill, you post so many cool cars. New, junk, and in between. Lots of fun car watching up there it seems.

Watching an English movie and it’s interesting to see that the mono-blade rests on the left side as they all do here, even for RHD cars.

So many nice cars down here, seen a few Maybachs including the S and GLS ones.

Yep, V8 and FWD like the Cadillac Seville (SLS/STS) it competed against at the time.

When I was a management trainee at Dollar Rent A Bucket, we had two Caddy Sedan DeVilles in the fleet. They did amazing smoky burnouts with a little soapy water on the ground. My coworkers informed me of this and I deny ever having tested it personally. I did like to take a Caddy to pick up customers only to bring them to the office and put them in a Corsica. Without rental fleets, Chevy never would have sold a single one of those.

that's because benz's like that are made in germany (LHD) and almost all euro nations are LHD.

the corsica was certainly one of the worst cars ever made.

speaking of cars... took the ioniq 5 with 4 of us in it on a fairly long drive to a restaurant i'd not been to. everyone who travels in the ioniq 5 is blown away at the huge passenger room front and back, the flat floor, silent driving, acceleration, etc.

Worse than a pinto?, Chevette?, Volare/Aspen? Yugo GV? Lol

Another fun fact about the Corsica, when it was introduced in 1987 it was only sold to rental car companies. Retail sales didn’t start till 1988 and ran all the way to 1996 with no facelifts by which point it was hopelessly outdated.

Oh yeah, I'm not surprised at all.. I just found it interesting. I see why they left it.

The wipe is so fast it's not a problem.

What game is that??? I'm not really a gamer but I wish I was.... I just have a short attention span with some.

You got to love a car, or know it's special when the damn *windshield wiper* is a beast like that. I love driving in the rain. A problem they had with it was it mesmerized people, and I can see why. Maybe that's a reason they axed it.

forza horizon 5 is the game

it screws up many things only noticeable to enthusiasts lol and it's clear at times that the people working on the game really aren't big car people, but it is at least a very pretty game and generally does a good job of making cars drive like you'd expect them to

nevertheless i was very happy to see this car would be available to unlock, customizing the cars is one of my favorite aspects and luckily many times the game does a good job of having factory paint and color schemes available... i went with this classy green two tone (really makes it look like an LS 400 lol) and kept the stock wheel style but upgraded to 17" wheels and bigger brakes to balance out the engine upgrades

btw on the tv it looks noticeably better than these screenshots haha

unfortunately it's xbox or PC only, you can get gran turismo 7 though which looks AMAZING but is more of a serious racing sim... forza horizon is a bit more on the arcade-like side and has the open world aspect too, however will frequently screw up little details that the gran turismo team does a better job with

gran turismo has the W211 E55 in the game! as well as the R129 and R230, both 500 and 600 versions... forza has none of those

Yeah it might be old but if I was broke and had to drive a beater...

It would be a Luxury Beater, oh yeah. Lol.

I have Xbox and only games I have are forza because it has my car on it and a track I’ve been on and others that I plan on visiting in near future. I want to get a sim rig so I can practice before track days. Asseto corsa is a good sim racing game.

For fun, I would drive that Lincoln,. I’d be interested to know what the dealer cost is to repair and replace the four wheel air suspension with Ford/Lincoln parts. (Not that it’s wise to do at this point)
