Just got back from Long Boat Key, FL a couple days ago and always see really nice cars here. Bentleys seem to be the luxury car of choice, even a few with W12s and a few nice Rolls like the one below.
I also parked next to this 7 series BMW and I actually thought it looked pretty good in person even in a light color with the M-sport grille.
‘The BMW definitely looks better in person. I like the look in person. But in this photo. It looks ugly.
Its a TTV8 with 740 hp...and they are bringing the wagon here...and I can choose to charge it and drive it around in pure EV mode if I want...whats not to want?
When the battery light comes on there's a good chance you won't make it home if someone keeps driving it
Barely made it home one time and got lucky just as the car died.
Depends on the reason it's on. If it's actually because of the battery only, you could keep driving for another 1,000 miles, but once you shut it down you wouldn't be able to restart.
Your situation sounds like the more common one where it represents a failure in the charging system, either the alternator or its voltage regulator. Then you can drive only until the battery is too low to fire the plugs and injectors, which typically doesn't take long.

I would agree. Though there's plenty of totally valid criticism of the XM, very little of it is aimed at its 644hp powertrain. Take that, add 100hp, subtract 700 lbs, dramatically lower the center of gravity, wrap it in some nice sheetmetal, and it'll really be something.
There's near zero chance I can convince my wife to trade the Q7 on a G91, but I'm definitely going to give it a try.
love that gif, lol... i thought you were joking about the gla250 but did a build on their website and got it over 53k lol... they even charge extra for rear folding seats. i could never 'order' a mercedes, porsche, etc., i'd have a stroke with all the options choices.

i don't know how rolls manages to make the long hood look great, while bmw can't pull it off. looks like the rolls hood slopes down some, whereas the bmw one is just a billiard table (and fugly).
i wonder if both cars are actually the same platform.

Zero chance that is. You already have yours in the house. For a second I thought G91 was a Genesis. Learned something new everyday.

Could it be price bias? A spanking new rolls like this passed us last week. It sure looked nice but I felt like I was impressed more by the cost of it. A new S was right behind it and I wondered if that rolls was that much better design. I guess only owners can appreciate it and justify the cost.
all Lexus cars, it does say “made by Toyota” on the door jam. You are just driving a TOYOTA
and audis are vw's, and rolls uses bmw engines and lincolns are fords, not sure your point.
i just don't get saying something is 'fake' if it exists just because it might 'insult' someone who owns a higher end model of the same brand.
luxury brands know full well that unless they're rolls royce, they HAVE to sell cars in volume and share parts to keep the prices somewhat reasonable. porsche realized that decades ago when it was close to going under. then they did boxster which was cheap inside initially and 'offended' 911 owners of course.

while an s-class is REALLY nice, there's really no comparison to a rolls royce especially in terms of available customization, material options/quality. a rolls may cost a fortune, but i think i can say without question that it's worth it if you can afford it. for people just looking for transportation to get from A to B obviously they won't appreciate it. but i'm glad rolls still exists and is amazing.
bentley is a bit more of a poser brand, lol, a bit like maserati is in relaitonship to ferrari. and yeah, while the interior of a bentayga is quite nice, the exterior is just really weak.
