I wonder if the LWB option in Canada is because of the significant Chinese immigrant community in Vancouver. China likes LWB models.

In the US we only get the LWB, Canada having the SWB is whats odd.

You got that right.

Everyone knows this Jag has only one acceptable color, GREEN.

Any other color cannot be forgiven. Lol

Other than the color, I love it! 👑. 🧐. 🛸

That ancient Jaguar platfom underpinned the XJ until the early 2000s redesign where the car got really frumpy looking and lost lots of its sex appeal.

Well, yes, British Racing Green is the classic Jaguar color, but many Jags are sold outside of Britain, where people don't have much loyalty to the Union Jack. Similarly, for instance, Mercedes, many years ago, pioneered the classic automotive Silver paint, but they are sold in many other colors as a well.

I actually disagree, they have some nice silvers, like yours, but they also have some really non-compelling silvers too. I actually think Lexus has made some of the best silvers. Apline Silver which my LS400 was, Liquid Platinum like my GS and LS, Atomic Silver, their new silver Iridium is also amazing, silver illusion is an amazing color too.

For instance the silvers they use on the S Class the last couple generations just dont look good IMO, the silver S600 coupe I have also doesn't look great.

Agreed, I love the Lexus silvers. Mercury and Atomic are my favorites since I like the grey undertones, Audi has two silvers I also like but one of them has a blue under hue that I'm "eh" toward (and happens to be the one I own)

Bentley has some of the best silvers but I prefer them in other colors so it's a conflict of interest lol!

The Silver Arrow Metallic Paint is just stunning on the SL, and it's supposed to be. Regular silver SLs still look great but they're just not as brilliant and shiny.

That said, Lexus does silver quiiiiite well too. Did you ever have a Mercury Metallic silver from Lexus? Both of ours are, we lovvvve that silver. And so do car dealers and other Lexus fans.

That Alpine looks really good on that 400, is that a blue underhue type silver?

Mica is actually very similar to a Bentley color I really like, my favorites are the extremely deep blues and greens combined with full brightwork. The high metallic blacks are also awesome, there is a 2020 for sale right now that is in my favorite black....

Two shades darker for this green is what I like as well
