The 4Gen ES came in both ES300 and ES330 versions, depending on the size of the V6. The shift to the 3.3L V6 (ES330) came in 2004....still within the same-generation vehicle.
The oil slugging issue was solved in the 3.0 when the model shifted to the 4ES generation.
Again I have owned the car for 21 years. There is nothing you can teach me about it. Lots I can teach you about it if you would be willing to learn.

Nothing I said was false or contradicted what you said. The 4Gen was produced with both the 3.0 and 3.3. Yes, by then, as you indicated, the issue had been pretty much resolved.
And, to be honest, even with the sludge-prone engines, if one used common sense and changed it at decent intervals, you greatly lessened the chances of sludge/gel in the first place. If anything, IMO, Toyota went overboard in their policy on replacing engines....at the time, they would replace any damaged engine free as long as at least one oil change with an OEM-equivalent oil/filter was documented within the past year.....which, IMO, is owner-neglect. Oil deteriorates with time as well as mileage.
You said that 4ESs suffer from the oil slugging issue, and they don’t. You don’t have to “like something despite an issue” if you also know that issue doesn’t exist for that thing. You obviously were trying to say that the issue was resolved in the revision to 3.3L and that’s not the case, it was resolved in the 3.0L in 2002.
It’s incredibly condescending when you try and teach people things they obviously already know, Off course I know what engine is in my car I have had for 21 years. Of course I know the engine was revised to be 3.3 l and it became the ES330 in 2004. I have been a Lexus owner and enthusiast for 26 years.

‘I think Camry had both at one point. The 3.3 was the top end

No, they're both the same engine, the 3.3 was just a revision that was bored to where it had more displacement. The 3.3 replaced the 3.0 in the Camry also in 2004.
