no way!!! that's so cool and it's the V12 model too... now that the earliest examples of those are 25+ years old i'm sure we'll start seeing more
it's extremely rare and maybe none are even for sale but toyota did make several left hand drive centuries for important japanese officials to use when they were traveling abroad to a country that drives on the right... you know, because anything less than a century just won't cut it lol
buying one of those left hand drive models would become top priority should i ever see one come up for sale nearby
the mirrors are in the "normal" place also on the LHD cars

It is just interesting to see. I have seen a Century 3 times. Rather have a Toyota Celsior from the LS400 era. (Seen that too)

‘How do you know that it is a V12?

it's a 2nd generation and those all exclusively used the 1GZ-FE V12, which has its origins in two 2JZs sharing a common crankshaft
also the century "didn't" come in LHD officially, it was only several occasions where it was specially ordered... i think the only LHD models were either for japanese officials to use overseas, and of course several custom orders from the middle east lol

one big difference that shows toyota never intended to export this car is that almost every century is upholstered in wool, since in japan that's considered superior to leather

It was a 5.0L V12 producing about 300hp, IIRC.
Nothing to blow anyone's socks off but plenty sufficient.
They say the engine in that is smoother than even an LS430's, that would be absolutely insane but I believe it.

I consider it superior to leather, it feels nicer and lasts longer. The styling of the century doesn’t appeal to me though.

I haven't had cloth seats in years. I think my last one was my 2011 Tacoma. I actually kind of miss them.

So I think I can handle a dark colored car. I did a rinseless wash in the garage tonight, took about 45 minutes…I think I can handle that!
Cloth seats feel hot to me, and I don’t like being gripped when I’m trying to move around etc.

Before my BMW, the last car I had with leather seats was my 92 LS400. I live in the desert. The AC did not work in that car. So I was sour on leather seats for a while.
