Fair enough. I only have one car with winters and it is the Matrix.

Dueler's from the factory for your 4R?
Yes, from factory I’ve heard people say bad things about Bridgestones, but I really like them and I’d get them again. My 04 4R has Yokohama (which are also OEMs on the limited 4Rs. I really them too but they are 17in

Lol, you’re a Michelin snob! My dad is too. I don’t have an allegiance to one particular brand. But I do plan on trying Pirelli P7s next.

Thats because the Pilot Sport is a very hard loud tire. You should have gotten a Premier or a Primacy MXM4.

The MXMs are quiet but have like a full second delay on turn in lol!

I have had all kinds of Michelin tires in my life. Premier, MXM4, LTX, Cross Terrain etc and more. I don’t drive the Matrix all that often but we wanted something a little more sporty. The suspension on my matrix is a little firmer anyway. I don’t know what it is but I am just turned off from the Michelin brand at this point, I had two sets of Cross Terrians on my 04 4R but they were discontinued at some point and the replacement was Lattitude and I just didn’t go with them . Currently I have Yokohama, Bridgestone, Hankook and now Goodyear again and I have no complaints

My X3 has Dueler H/P's and my previous '19 X3 also had them. I like them too. No issues.

Most drivers (and I'm one of them) would probably trade off some quick steering-response in return for not having their ears assaulted by road noise. We aren't driving Formula 1 cars.

This list will help you to find the plant and country of origin by the digits on the tire sidewall.

I agree generally. But I’d rather have a tire that can satisfy both requirements.

I used to be a huge Michelin snob, but I’ve gotten away from them and actually they don’t make class leading tires in any of the segments I buy tires in

Ive been running Pirellis for a few years now and am very happy with them.

Hey Jill, you asked what model Toyos I have and they are Proxes A/S. I said they were made in Georgia but I looked today and they are made in Japan.

I lasted 4 days with them, they totally ruined the car and I had no confidence driving it.

My cars are inherently quiet enough that my overall noise level is still lower than most everything out there even with sport tires.

I'm running BFG KO2's on my truck. Great tires but a bit spendy. Really heavy too, so they're dragging my MPG's down. But they're fantastic off-road and in load range E they're thick enough to make puncturing them difficult.
