Home and in the garage! Have a lot of setting up to do!

So far its incredible. You wouldn't think the ride and drive could be better than my 2020 but it is, and quieter. I measured 57 dB on the stretch of 270 I always test on, the S560 was 59 as was the LS460L. It is shockingly silent. Ride is great...will post a thread...

Process at the dealer was great, quick...
Congrats. Beautiful car. But I am a little surprised/disappointed you didn't go i7, especially with all the EV nuthugging.

Ultimately if this car was an EV or came in an EV I probably would have gotten it. Basically I just prefer the S Class overall. This will undoubtedly be my last ICE vehicle.

yeah an s class that's faster, quieter, smoother will be a winner next time for you with expanded charging network and likely better range.

So I got the interior dialed in, got the windows all cleaned, coated the glass with Glaco, hit it with a coat of DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss, got the air pressures set to 34...I'm done for the night. I will go take a lot of good pictures tomorrow. Needs tint for sure lol

The active ambient lighting is hilarious, I love it lol

I ordered a color matched spoiler like the old one had. It definitely needs the spoiler IMO

Neat little touch

that’s too bad you don’t use them . I would love to have mats like the 1794 edition.

Like others stated easier to keep the all weather mats clean. Example walking around in this hopping in and out on the OEM carpet mats then trying to clean them.

I get what you are saying. But why did you get the 1794 if such a work truck?

Although I didn’t NEED a new truck, the 1794 made it a little easier to sell to my wife over our ‘08 Limited interior. She helped me install the bed cover the first day we brought it home and she and the kids hopped in it without me on the 2nd day of ownership.

We used to take a lot of family road trips in the ‘08. We’ve taken a couple trips so far in the 1794.

1st week after getting the ‘08 my son 🤮 on the rear carpet mat. With the all weathers in new truck I feel little more at ease with kids in the back.
