picturing that that's called bikram (or hot) yoga.
yeah in vegas need all the a/c you can get. do you have remote start on your bmw to cool it a bit before you get in?
granted not as hot here as lv, but my lc must have some amazing heat rejecting glass because it just doesn't get hot inside and i have a black interior and no aftermarket tint.
I don't have remote start. BMW didn't start offering it until iDrive 7 cars were on sale, and mine is iDrive 6. The reasoning I've heard for it being such a late addition(circa 2019-2020) is that Europe has a very negative view on idling. Could be BS and BMW was just being cheap IDK.

Oh if you think all that is bs over here it would blow your mind over there.

They have parking heaters, FAR better than any remote start as it prevents the engine from ever starting cold and uses tiny amounts of fuel. You can pre-program the car with your work routine so that it's already 72* and 180* coolant temp when you walk out to it in the morning if you don't park inside.
Now if you seek AC then yeah you need to remote start it but eh, windows down and drive 30 seconds for the AC to take over is my thoughts.
There has to be some sort of data stream native to the car. Where is it connecting to Wi Fi if you are blazing down the Interstate
It has its own cellular connection.

That doesn't bother me

It should come back and when it does you should have the same sound from either source.
Even on tracks that aren't Atmos the sound quality is dramatically better. I can switch sources between the same track CarPlay to MBUX and the difference is tremendous. Whether its DSP or whatever, the net result is the audio is dramatically better. Sharper, clearer, punchier. Just an entirely different experience.
Got my new plate frames and mounted them front and back, I'm going to keep the front plate vs dealing with the holes. With the plate frame and the nice clear cover over the plate it looks fine
So ther car has a built in Dashcam. I have to decide if this is good enough or If I want to reinstall the one I had in the last two cars. Its not as high resolution and there is no rear camera...

That actually doesn’t look too bad. The cameras I’ve seen built in aren’t the best quality, at least in my Tesla and BMW they aren’t. I never ended up paying for the subscription in the BMW and procrastinated getting one installed. I am definitely going aftermarket in my next car.
I'm a boat guy. I sort of think those are categories. I wouldn't ever have a camper, nothing against it... just I'm more into water.
Problem is the boat I want is like $500,000+ that you can live on, like your camper.
For some reason I thought your truck was a different color lol.
Growing up in the PNW, boats have always been a part of life. "Opening Day" here is like a holiday (opening day of boating season in the spring). But for me, camping is my happy place.

I feel you, I'm not on the coast but East Tennessee is HUGE for boating. We have so many lakes that many boat headquarter companies are in or around Knoxville. The Sea Ray I ordered was built just down the interstate and the main headquarters is in the tallest building downtown.
Bayliner
Mastercraft
Malibu
Sea Ray among others are all headquartered around here.
Actually Brunswick is here, which owns a bunch of brands lol.
And I get it, I'm not just a camper. I don't party like I used to but oh we'd spend 13 hours or so on our old boat years ago lol.
The splish splash of the water and nostalgia are my favorite parts. I grew up on Ft Loudon/Tellico lake, it's a great area for boating.
Thankfully yes. Or at least it seems. No more differential leak and the terrible clicking/squeaking noise ended up just being the TRD skid plate underneath the engine, and was easily resolved. All is good!
