Mercedes have the same feature, it’s great. I always forget to use it…

It's a common feature on German cars. My E90 has it in many European countries. In the US, they code and label that same button as "All", which syncs the climate control zones. But a simple recode can return that button to the "REST" function. My G80 pops up a prompt on the iDrive every time the engine shuts off that allows you to enable cabin conditioning either now, or at a preset time.

80? you could bake bread in there too while you're running errands.

I wish it got a lot more of the Urus’ driving dynamics. Porsche did a much better job with the Cayenne. The RSQ8 was just flat out disappointing to me. The SQ8 seems to be the sweet spot trim for that vehicle.

The "rest" button. I've never used it in my car.

Agreed, for me though it was a matter of an SUV is still just an SUV in terms of dynamics when really pushed and 100+ is not nearly as impressive as a car

I don’t really have a desire to drive a car people think is ugly, and I agree the S580 is much better looking…but where does that leave me?
Drive what you like and don't worry about other people. They aren't making the payment.

Audi S8 (I suppose I will check one out, but thats unlikely)

SUVs:

Range Rover (will consider the 6 and 8, would consider the PHEV but they are sold out for 2024)
MB GLS580
X7 40i (no V8 X7 because I don't like the M Sport appearance package)
Lexus LX600
Audi Q8

Any other thoughts?
Genesis G90

i guess ev's are out for you, but if you'll consider i'd say:
Mercedes EQS SUV (i know you hate the sedan and hard plastic, but if you've not driven the suv, you should try to give it an unbiased try)
Genesis G80 EV

just read the article on the s580e and that sounds great, probably 40mi. range.

I will drive the G90 but I would probably just keep my S560 vs one. Yeah I think EVs are out this time because of travel, next time.

I also confirmed the MB Extended Warranty is pro rata refundable so I’ll get it regardless and that gives me more time.

I just landed in Orlando, apparently my rental is a brand new QX80 with 760 miles on it!
